Fast Diagnostic Services for Dogs & Cats.
When something is off with your pet, the path to feeling better starts with knowing what’s wrong. Our in-house diagnostic capabilities let us evaluate, test, and image your pet on-site, often delivering answers in minutes rather than days. From routine wellness screenings to investigating complex symptoms, the right diagnostic tools make all the difference in providing accurate, timely, and effective care.
In-House Laboratory
Our on-site laboratory lets us run a wide range of tests without sending samples out, which means faster answers and faster treatment. From complete blood counts and chemistry panels to heartworm tests, urinalysis, and parasite screens, we have the equipment and expertise to handle most lab work in-house, saving you time, money, and the stress of waiting.
X-Rays
Digital X-rays give us a clear, detailed look at what’s happening inside your pet–from skeletal fractures and foreign bodies to dental disease and signs of internal trouble. Our digital radiology produces images that are faster, safer, and more detailed than traditional film, with results available immediately. They’re a foundational tool for both routine evaluation and urgent diagnosis.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound lets us see inside your pet’s body in real time, without radiation or invasive procedures. It’s especially useful for evaluating abdominal organs like the liver, kidneys, and gallbladder, as well as monitoring heart function and pregnancy. Painless and non-invasive, ultrasound is a versatile tool that often complements X-rays for a more complete diagnostic picture.
Electrocardiography (ECG/EKG)
An ECG is a non-invasive, painless assessment of your pet’s heartbeat, used to identify irregularities in rhythm or signs of heart enlargement. It’s a critical tool for diagnosing and managing cardiac conditions, especially in pets with known heart concerns or breeds prone to cardiac issues. The test is quick, comfortable for your pet, and provides essential information about heart health.
Health Screening Tests
Some health conditions are genetic, and certain breeds are predisposed to specific diseases. Health screening tests let us check for conditions like Von Willebrand’s disease, hip dysplasia, and renal dysplasia–often before symptoms appear. These tests are valuable for both at-risk pets and breeding evaluations, helping you make informed decisions about your pet’s care and future.

Answers lead to better care.
Diagnostics aren’t just for sick pets: they’re an essential part of routine wellness, too. Baseline bloodwork helps us know what “normal” looks like for your pet, making it easier to spot changes down the road. Whether we’re investigating a specific concern or simply keeping tabs on your pet’s overall health, having advanced diagnostic tools on-site means we can move quickly, treat accurately, and give you peace of mind.
